2/22/2004 02:52:00 PM|||Andrew|||Yesterday I went to an Aggie baseball game and it was throughly exciting! There's a whole different set of traditions from the football ones, including sitting during the game, which I was very glad for. Our team is apparently doing really well so far, having not yet lost a game thus far (6-0). What's more, both the hitting and pitching is phenomenal. They've posted scores like 15-1, 13-3, and 8-0, yesterday's result. I've loved baseball since I started to be exposed to it as I came back here to the US, but I've never really experienced college baseball. Pretty much I followed the Astros, who rock of course, and a few other teams in the NL.
It's almost a momentous occassion...I can feel my sagging school spirit rising up once again. Latent it has lain, but it shall conquer once again! Bwhahaha. In fact, I'm thinking of hooking myself up with a spring sports pass so I can start going to games on a semi-regular basis, rather than smooching a sports pass off of someone else each time I want to go.
In conclusion, Aggie baseball rocks, I'm not a two-percenter anymore, and yes I've totally sold out.|||107749032930324467|||
