Child ponography charges dropped
against R Kelly, because a judge ruled that the evidence (pretty signicant evidence) was illegally seized. I don't know what I think about that. Well, it sickens me that someone like him won't pay for crimes he probably has done. But should obviously convicting evidence be thrown out if it wasn't obtained in a proper manner? I'm not sure. I understand why our legal system works that way, but I don't like it. It hinders the police force and contributes to the freedom of many wicked people. Maybe instead of letting people off in such cases, the police officers responsible for illegal search or seizure could be punished...punished well. Would that deter dishonesty in the police force while not letting criminals go free when they should be convicted according to the evidence discovered, whatever it's origin? I'm not sure. But it's a thought.|||107956190887035797|||
