A picture of the battle lines as drawn as the second day of the battle closes follows. The dead are shown in the bottom left. Bloody battle, eh? Of course, in actuality, the battle of Shiloh (what I just played) was the bloodiest and largest battle ever fought on the North American continent at the time, only to be later surpassed by Gettysburg.
